The mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters
To provide children that are facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-on-one relationships that can change their lives for the better, forever.
For all children to achieve success in life.
How does Big Brothers Big Sisters make a difference in our community?
Compared to their peers, Little Brothers and Sisters who are matched are:
46% less likely to initiate drug use
27% less likely to start drinking alcohol
55% less likely to skip school
The program really works. These are impressive results when you consider the many risks faced by kids in our society. That's why matching caring volunteers to children on our waiting list is so important.
